Training Squad

Please find details of our charter development program for 2017. We look forward to your participation.

What is our focus
Working with charter coaches our foundations program is about giving young baseball players a structured coaching program with opportunities train, practice and have fun.

Who is it for?
All Junior League and Little League age eligible charter club members. Players may be grouped into levels that will enable more specific skills development to be carried out.

When does it start?
Each Saturday from the 11th of Nov until 16th Dec, starting at 8.30am until 11.00am.
(6 week program)

Location
Little League—Melbourne Baseball Club, Junior League—Blackburn Baseball Club

Cost
$100 per child, will include a Charter Cap and Training Shirt

How will this link in with BV plans.
Baseball Victoria will be operating a Charter Representative program in 2018. This will entail a training and development program for our representative squads for state and ultimately national JL and LL tournaments. Selections for these squads are expected to occur in December. A Charter All Star and Development squad will be selected. Selection to these teams will be merit based. This program is not a pre-requisite for these teams
